Are you looking for a better career opportunity? On November 4, 1998, the Orange County Times Career Days Employment Expo was sponsored by a diverse range of industries from telecommunications, financial services, health care, retail, and information technology. The Career Expo was held at the Costa Mesa DoubleTree Hotel, and information on future expositions is available from the employment section of the Los Angeles Times classifieds section. Career expositions are good networking opportunities, and this one was no exception. For $10, the sponsors had a distribution station where a single copy of your resume would be distributed to all the attending companies. The Internet partner of the Career Expo was CareerPath.com, and those candidates submitting resumes were also entered in CareerPath.com's Resume Connection database. In fact, CareerPath.com was the hidden benefit to many job seekers who hadn't explored using the Internet for job search. CareerPath.com posts the largest number of current job listings with more than 250,000 openings at any time. In addition, many career enhancement educational institutions were present, including Marymount/Webster Weekend College, National University, Pepperdine University, Platt College, University of Redlands, and the Computer Education Institute. Here is a list of many of the employers who attended the Career Exposition:
